This blog will be based on what you will typically get from me as your wedding photographer from the initial contact form submission right through to the delivery of your edited wedding gallery.
- CONTACT
Fill out the contact form with as much information as you can.
never feel like your bothering the photographer if you have any questions or just need some reassurance over an issue then it's better to ask.I can't emphasise enough
how important good communication is as it's your biggest day and you want to make sure everything is covered.
- ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS
Should you have an engagement session? well from my point of view yes you should and no it isn't about the money mainly because i don't charge for an engagement session
for most of my wedding packages but you will find many photographers do.
I like to meet couples and create images similar to that on the wedding day this means that it helps to get to know each other when your chatting throughout the session,
but it's a great way to understand the posing and positions you be asked to go into during your wedding day and of course you'll feel less nervous of having your portrait
taken on the day and you'll have professionally taken images of your wife/husband to be where you can show off those images to friends and family and it keeps the excitement
of the wedding going that much longer and more than anything else you'll have a great time and you get to dress up in your best outfit.
- PRE-WEDDING & THE WEDDING DAY
Four weeks prior to the wedding day I will send you a questionnaire with questions about all the important details such as a suppliers list so they get to share the images of your wedding day.
A shot list this is vital to ensure the shots you want from group shots to certain members of your family or friends are done and details about the venue and any restrictions that there might be.
Once I have this and the timeline of the day I can create my own notes for the day so it goes as smoothly as possible.
I like to capture a wedding day as naturally as possible so you enjoy your day and don't feel your constantly having to pose for an image.
I will typically arrive one or two hours before I am needed so i can get shots of the venue and reception area if it is set up when I arrive.
If there is one thing I would suggest is to smile....a lot.
- POST WEDDING AND DELIVERY OF YOUR IMAGES
Within a few days I will get in touch with a selected number of images typically around 10-20 and these are your sneak - peaks and will be posted on social media usually facebook
where you can share with loved ones. The final gallery is delivered within four weeks of the wedding but should there be a delay I will always communicate this to you as I know
how excited you will be to receive the images.
- CONCLUSION
I hope this blog has helped to answer some of your questions and of course if you have any questions when you are booking me for your wedding day then please get in touch
and I will do my best to answer them for you and i'm very approachable and will go out of my way to help in any way I can before ,during and after the wedding.
PS: CONGRATULATIONS!!
